I just posted a reply on Rikdaddys' blog on remembering 9/11. As I found the streangth and courage to recall the events of that day it dawned on me how easy we forget about how much of this world is in caose. There is hunger, war, ethnic cleansing campaigns run by some countries, poverty, sick child molesters... I could go on but you all get the picture. We almost take for granted what we have here in this country. From coast to coast... how many can argue the greatness of what we share. Some, over seas, may despise us, but we hold our chins up high in knowing where we stand as a nation of independent thinkers and makers of progress! I say a lot of things in jest on this forum and some times I may lose my temper and return a verbal favor or two. But over all I know that no one can beat us at what we all share... the freedom to express how we feel. It may be corny to some but this forum is a good way to release from the every day crap that is life. I enjoy the banter and debate. I'm not perfect in any way, but fun is at the core of any exchange of minds to me. I'll never forget what I saw on 9/11. It was too close, even if I was 5 or so blocks from the towers. I'm still numb inside from it.

Planes crashing into buildings because of religously blind radicals is not funny, holmes! But yeah, I guess those things were happening when the planes hit... You see how much is lost in translation? Those things were unimportant, at the time, and when I posted on rikdaddys blog it hit me like a ton of bricks that the world is still no better off. Can't wait for 2012 when the celestial clock restarts.
