DMV visits in CT. have been very short as of late. They did some thing to their programm. Last time I was there I only spent 25 minutes there.

Hey this is kinda late but ya in my town there is an awesome legal street racing spot which is more what i was reffering to. It is a traffic light on a nearly always traffic-less highway where the speed limit is 110km/h so up to that point it is legal and not too dangerous

We did get off the subject there a little. LOL!
back when I was young, I would go with my uncle to the FIEBRE or the FEVER as it literally translates. It was a group of guys that got together and raced their little corolla 1.8s or what ever was there. In the two or three years that I went with my uncle I saw lots of accidents with the people standing on the side  of the road. They would get hit because they got too close the the action...LITERALLY. They would be almost in the road. The last one that got broken up by the cops resulted in some one losing their life shortly before the cops came. We got there late but saw this as we came to the end of the street. We didn't go to race that evening. The guy was on the side walk sitting on a stool as the car hit him sending him really high in the air. He landed on his head. I don't know if he died from the car hitting him or from landing on his head. We found out later that he died from his family but we didn't know what actually did him in. No one at the hospital told the family what killed him either. His injuries were too severe.
Any way, since then I was always against street racing. I alway said that there had to be a better, safer way.
