The last Swift I saw was in Puerto Rico, some two or three months back. Theyt are not bad little vehicles, if you can get past the lack of get up and go. it's still a three cylinder, I believe. I'm not sure that they put a 4 banger in it for the newer models. If it is a 3 banger, they are pretty fuel efficient. If you don't load the car up with people, that is... Any way, I don't mind the little car, it's actually pretty cool looking. People in Puerto Rico have built them up in the past for the drag strip that's there but, to be honest, I haven't seen very much of them built for the street. The swift is not a bad little car, though, especially for what it costs. Hope you have fun with it.

In Puerto Rico they do. You would have to get in touch with some one that does from there but I think that lately they haven't done one up since all the hype is now on Nissan, Mitsubishi and Subaru. There might be some loyal Suzuki runners around there. Unfortunately, I don't know of any one, I just saw them run on track there, once or twice, over the years that I've made visits to my family. I wouldn't get too serious about it, though. I don't think that they get built for that and then get driven home.

That's cool. I've been a Nissan head all my life and now that I own a Rav4 it's a goal of mine to install a 2JZ engine into it and keep it all wheel drive as well. Is that too much engine for this chassis? I know, dumb question... But it is original! And LOTS and LOTS of work!!!
