want to explain what matrial you have joined, in what position flat, vertical down vert up or over head? , with what HEAT amps , and what setting? AC/DC - or + with or without pulse?

serated or pure tungsten.........

ok lets move on to GMAW :

wire feed speed?
what did you weld? co2 mix? genaric mix, argon or straight co2?
tip size? wire diameter? CFM ? what position?

and the last thing you claimed to do:
SMAW

what type of rod did you use?
amerage?
position?
setting ? Dc +? -?  ac?
postion?
material

im not coming with *** out of my ass here blackmonkey i can easily back up what i have claimed you seem to come up with ***

btw fabricating engines? dude i wish i can fab an engine

do you even know how hard it is to build a block from hand????? ya it's not tacking a few pieaces of alimunim together and throwing a crank in it........fuck im not honda motor co of america!!!!!!!

you either rebuild/build motors or fab parts for the car.... i have yet to meet anyone who has claimed they have fabed a one off motor.......with no manufacturing from any outside sources well maybe blackmonkey over here with his *** "blackmonkey racing"

First off, you need to specify what machine and what thickness metal and what specific material you choose to weld. I.E. aluminum and such. I don't weld aluminum. don't have the hand for it. And I never said I was an expert at it. Did I? I said I used them, not greatly, but I did use them. That is why I enrolled to a school for the subject. PAY ATTENTION!! It sorta' helps if you do so you don't sound like a blow hard, kid. Now who sounds childish. I told you that I have no issues with you and well... like I told you, when you see a car with the "BLACKMONKEY RACING" logo on it, you can come and see what my shop produces. Our little debate helped me decide to go to school at my age, kid, so chalk it up as a win for you. O.K.?

He won't because he's stuck on the fact that he's an automotive genius and fancies him self a pro body man. civic.slow... we still want to know why you call your self that, by the way...jut because you can weld does not mean that you know squat about what it takes to fabricate and work on structual pieces of a cars body. I don't and I never said that I could out weld you, if you've been paying attention smarty pants. With help, I can weld too. Maybe not well, but I can do it. Bending pipe and welding exhaust is more my cup of tea and yet... I still know that it still is not enough for me to be great at welding. I know my limitations and have admitted it. You, on the other hand, think that because you have that little project going that it makes you the "IT" man on cars. Go to school, kid, 'cause my mind is on ribs right now and the sauce is good!!! P.S. Please pay attention to what's said. You sound ignorant when you respond. I may have forgotten that you owned a 200sx too, but my excuse is age. What's yours?

civic.slow habitually ignores what's being said and is just in a world of his own in his responses and its a never ending process.

will do but i was asking YOU that question there is no way i can tell what you have welded with what processes.....

i mean anyone can SMAW, given enough time (6 months to be proficient if time is managed wisely......not just doing stringer beads over and over with a single rod......shit some people can't even use a 6010(5p) or "fast freeze" rod......... most can only use drag and weave rods...

so you can't weld very well, or fabricate small things which is fine, but then you claim to fabricate exhuasts?

like i said repedatly blackmonkey........... i ONLY respond to your ignorant ***

again............engineering student.......

welding student.

used to be a mechanic.

does it mean im the best or EVEN good at building cars? no....... you called me out, also IIRC i was the one who told YOU to go back to school............... and you did which was great........

you think you're the *** becuase you're old, 60's old iirc. does;nt mean you know *** does'nt mean you're wise.........

i've seen your patetic responses.......ricer

y i rember the 200sx..... interior was nice (harnesses, 240sx rear seats, stripped the rest of it factory turbo) but the thing was garbage suspension wise....

Civic.slow, please forgive the last post made in my name. That was my cousin, who will not be on this forum to bother any one else again. To be honest, the custom exhaust fabrication is my world and I only bend pipe to fit my customers needs. Since I don't have a welder that works very well I find my self just making cat back exhaust for people that want it. And just recently, that also went to crap on me. At this point, with very little money coming in and the cost of the repair to the pipe bending machine, it will be a long while before I get back to fabricating custom exhaust. It's an old machine with all the original stickers, and identification, that wore off some time ago. That's life, I guess. You're a smart kid and you'll get far in life. Just don't let any thing taint your good nature, as my cousin did.
