In light of trying to educate you, mr. civic.slow, When you say some thing  and  "f" some one back to their respective countries and, as you recently wrote, seem to think that education in P.R. is less than in the U.S.... it is a softer and more hidden way of being racist. If you're white, which I assume you are, you wouldn't understand. Are we clear?! Don't think to assume that I can't read between the line when comments like yours are said. I've lived a long rough life to let you think to imply that what you think is nothing when it is! You probably have never left this country to learn and appreciate some culture in your thinking. Choose what you say with out mentioning countries in a derogatory way. And for your enlightenment and appreciation... Puerto Ricans were tuning and building Japanese imports here and on the island before there was even a tuning craze to be had. I witnessed some of the very first races involving a 4cyl. and a V8., which is why I'm here where I stand in this buisness today! And if I choose not to share some thing with pups like you, it's not because I don't know any thing! I'm old school with an old skool mind set, so learn to speak before you open your mouth next time!!! Sorry folks.

My 200sx is not a front wheel drive as some might think. the first front drive 200sx was made for the last end of 1989 with the familiar sentra look. Mine is the S12 series 200sx. It's a Z body configuration, rear wheel drive configuration. And for me to fit this all wheel drive trans and to have it mate properly with the engine and in the engine bay, it has to be seriously modified to fit. It's not like building a honda engine and welding mounts to fit when it's a different series honda engine. Civic.slow in his attempt to make me seem inept at car building didn't even know that in 1987, there were no front wheel  drive 200sx cars to be found 'cause they were never made. So to simply squash this crap due to possible ignorance on his part, here you go... I have competitors that visit this site as well and if I choose not to specify some things it's because of that. So don't assume any thing when I'm trying to protect my assets on the track. Is that good for you, kid? I may not sound as technically inclined as you might want, kid, but don't be fooled into thinking any thing else

One day you'll see my car on the track with the BLACKMONKEY RACING logo on it... then I can share details with you! When you get going with your trade and really become a serious builder/racer making money, you'll under stand why I am the way I am.

dude the engine is being BUILT........not swapped. #2 so you say hot tank is taking away from longevity of the motor? wrong just blantently WRONG.

so i shouldnt have honed my sleeves becuase it creats TOO new of a ring mating surface?

seriously man........it doesnt sound like you have built much of anything.......

line honing, knife edging, hot tanking = all good things to do........and having a clean motor while you rebuild is a good thing......

And it's more blankety blank from you as well... No one is saying any thing bad about your engine and the process of building etc., etc... I called you out on how dusty your car was in your picture compared to how long it must be taking you to build on an apprentices pay. It must be taking a lot longer than you planned... where as it doesn't take me as long. Don't get me wrong, kid, it's good that you take your time so there is no mistakes but my whole point in this debate of ours has been not to give advice on a one way, honda bias, attidude way, like you do. That's all. When you told me to just rig up some metal and weld mounts up, did you think i had a front drive car where the area spaces is close. That would be a plus for my car, but it's not. My fabricator/body guy has been working on my car for a bit now and alot was done to streangthen portions of the unibody to accept the new engine/drivetrain platform, including along the "B" pillar area around the floor anf roof for tortion protection. He's even laying out patterns for the roll bar install... can't wait to see it finished... so, kid, how goes your " weld some mounts up" theory now? And he is a renouned fabricator from Puerto Rico, to say the least, He's done some pretty cool stuff. That's why I flew him in. I couldn't afford him as a full time tech in my shop that's why I contracted him to just work on my car for now. He's got full room and board at my place and since I'm not recovered yet from some rib injuries he drives my daily driver to the shop. He's an older guy, about 55 to 60 years old and he's really an old school type of guy who doesn't say much at all.

And you thing to make me respect you with the fact that you can weld and build motors... excuse me... ENGINES, 'cause motors are for electrical purposes. O.K.? That was a freebie for you. And secondly You've proven nothing to me about your skill when you tell some one to rig some thing up as a mock up when there are companie out there that make mounts for custom purposes. You don't shop around much do you? Try going to INNOVATIVEMOUNTS.COM and save your self the head ache of trying to be the all around guy. I dont waste my time with things that take away from other important aspects of a build in a shop. Time is money for me and when you grow up and have a real buisness to own and run, you'll under stand the buisness of building a car professionally. Amen that you could do what you do while going to school, kid, but again don't assume to think that, you, starting out in this world gives you more experience than me. You proved nothing other than your youth... And good luck with your car, it is coming out very nice indeed. "BLACKMONKEY RACING" will see you at the race track some time in the future and teach you a little some thing about old school experience. Until then, kid, no more yap from the peanut gallery. And the Lords name is sacred to us Christians. I assume you don't want that on you as well.
Oh, and by the way... It WAS you who started this thing by throwing wood into the fire because I was not willing to share some info with you. Remember? Get it right. I'm old school and when you know what that means, in the tuning world, then maybe you'll under stand. Ask around, you may learn some thing... Advice to you... Go to midnightperformance.com so they can help you reflash your PCM for NOS use. They are an authorized HONDATA tuning dealer. You may need their help when every thing is said and done. Again, have fun with your car.

Seriously, the nerve to use the name in vain and over a silly argument he is clearly losing.

Nene, you told that fool. Its a shame to see some one talk so much crap without knowing what they are saying. Im young too, 20, but I have enough sense to respect my elders. Also as a mechanical engineer I have to back you up, put simply you know what your talking about and he doesn't. Kid has no respect even to go so far as to bring the Lord's name into his foolishness.

Hey miamito616, I think I'm through getting my point accross to Mr. civic.slow. It's obvious to me, through my conversations to him, that this thing he's doing is just a hobby. He doesn't plan on making a living at it, as I've done, and doesn't plan on racing frequently, like I do, to test what ever modifications and fabrications he's going to have in the future. Advice from some one who does this as a hobby doesn't make them a pro. At least I got one thing out of this debate with him!! I enrolled my self in a school to learn how to weld! He's right... can't do much other than being a tech if I can't weld two sheets of metal together. Considering that I've used tigs, migs, arcs and plasma cutters. I still need to learn more, thanks to civic.slow. You see? I do admit where my faults are! Ain't education grand?!

Gee, that's a good point. Not that I want to start some thing else to cause a tirade or any thing. Fess up.
