I bet anything you clicked on this topic wit the intention of flaming me with "there is no best car, stupid!" Well I'll agree to some extent. I was just curious what the people here would define as the best car under the following circumstances:
1) Best bang for your buck car under 30k (msrp price, not what you can find it for on eBay) 2) Best bang for your buck car under 90k (same as above) 3) Overall best car for audio setup. (note: I said CAR. SUVs and the like are exclluded). 4) Best daily driver (no, the bugatti isn't a daily driver for most of us) 5) Best dream car 6) Best rally car under 50k 7) Best drag car under 50k 8) Best tuner car (lets stick to JDM and EDM cars) 9) Best luxury car under 50k 10) Best Super Street car
Here's my list:
1) Nissan 350Z 2) Nissan GTR (60k msrp?) or Chevy Corvette 3) Scion xB - it's cheap, and roomy! 4) Civic hybrid - auto climate, and amazing MPG 5) McLaren F1 - As sexy as it is fast 6) Subaru STi - Sorry Evo guys, my vote goes for Suby 7) Mustang GT500 - edmunds says it's slow, but as most red blooded Americans would say, "There's not replacement for displacment!" 8) Nissan 350Z - it's the most common, and has a huge aftermarket 9) Lexus IS350 - I would say SLK350, but it MSRPs at 49,975. After taxes it would be well over 50k. 10) Acura NSX

1. Umm most of the cars that are all drooled over nowadays dont go for msrp. Its the early 90s fight for supremacy that made the car manufacturers produce the import "super cars" ie. Supra, Rx-7, .Skylines have been around for a while... 300zx, vr4, mr2 turbo.. So why just go with new cars?

With all the hype that gets tossed around these threads, I have to agree with 2JZ_FTMFW on this one. The best car is to be left to the individual person. Just like spirtual salvation, dude, its up to you. Every one has different tastes and pocket depths. So the best is really unimportant when the history you made with the car is what gives it its value.
