What would be more catchy?? A 300zx with a RB26DETT engine swap or a 240 with that engine swap? Their both amazing cars and I plan on useing one of them for drifting use only.. The thing is I've only seen one 300zx with that swap and more 240's with that swap. A 300 with the RB26DETT engine swap is never seen done, accept for the one on your last superstreet magazine...
Also with the new superstreet magazine whats up with that 240sx and the handa engine swap?? Thats going too farrrr! I never thought anyone would ever do that...

Listen, an RB26DETT in any thing is a good swap. It's the king of swaps. If the person doing it is savy enough and has the know how, that is. I'm in the middle of a engine build for my self right now and that is the engine I'm working to put in a 1987 Nissan 200sx. I'm swapping out the O.E. power plant for GODZILLA POWER. I'm trying to figure out what needs to be done to fit it in. You know, cutting, welding, mods and the such. Sure there could be other body styles out there that I could use, but this body style is practically unseen on the streets, right now, where I live here on the North East. No need to get another power plant when you can use what works best. Right?

Why would you swap in a less effecient motor into the Z..The vgdett Will make 700whp on stock internals..As shown via the peacemaker..The reason you don't see that stock is because it's insane..It's a DOWNGRADE..The fact is most people don't realize how potent the VG setup is.There are daily driven 700whp Vg's..I'm so ashamed of this recent issue, They really have their facts screwed up..I can't beleive they put incorrect info out for people to read, pssh.

i would just forget about using the rb26det motor all together because you want to drift. that motor is way heavy and so is alll the stuff you got to swap out to handle it. that motor throws the weight distribution off it is a good swap for the 240 if you plan on drag but i would go with a 240 with sr20. people use it all the time because it is cheap and efficiant. im going to take a wild guess and say that you dont drift. just watch the pros and take some notes on the popular cars and setups. becuase they are popular for a reason. but just steer clear of any rb series motor unless you want to drag race
