There are many reasons why it is illegal to street race. And "Mr. GOTSMACKEDBYARUSTANG is one of the many reasons. It sounds as if all of you who are speaking well of street racing are merely kids. I'm from the really old school times when the first Toyota beat an 8 cyl. on the streets. Those were the days. And still, people died because of the stupidity of those individuals that never had the capacity to understand the dangers of it. I'm glad that there is a venue, that caters to the enthusiast racer, on the track. Racing on the streets always leads to some kind of chaos.  

its still wrong in general, if you need to teke steam off, go take a mountain road and see how well you can take the turns, jsut dont drive too fast....thats a much betetr alternative to street drag racing
