Hi all,

My name is Chris, I'm from the NYC area and I'm a proud new member of Regiment Zero.  I have a '03 WRX with 354AWHP 355AWTQ on a stock 2.0 WRX motor (which doesn't seem like much but coming from a 175WHP base, 354 is impressive).  My goal is 500-600WHP/WTQ once I get my new motor and supporting mods in.  I attended 10 shows in the past 2 years and have achieved 9 awards, 7 Best Subaru and 2 Best JDM.  I'm considering leaving the show scene for '08 and convert the car in to a road race and time attack race car.  So look for me on the classifeds sections for plenty of bling parts

Please check out my pics below.  If you guys would like a full mod list and more pics please visit my page at HINCITY: http://hincity.com/cars/profile.asp?id=18751046FCDD5XE7U59V4BDAILADW5

Very nice car man. Welcome to the forums!

As for there notbeing many people, it's probably because it was a Nightshift event. Nightshift events typically occur in smaller venues, but are typically better IMO. It's a more personal environment, and the vendors as well as the exhibitors aren't as crowded in.

The LI show this year definately seemed like a smaller show than lasts years Shea Stadium Show.  It was still a great show nonetheless.  The dyno was definately a good add on.

YA RIGHT ON! SELL ALL YOUR BLING CRAP AND GET YOUR A55 ON THE ROADCOARSE!!! NO AUTOCROSS, GO STRAIGHT TO A DRIVING SCHOOL ON A REAL TRACK, IT WILL BE THE MOST FUN YOU EVER HAD I CAN TELL YOU.

ALSOM I NEVER GOT THE POINT OF HAVING A SHOWCAR, TRAILER QUEEN.. I NEVER GOT THE POINT OF HAVING A CAR THAT IS AMAZING ON PAPER AND HAS ALL THE GO-FAST STUFF BUT IS TOO NICE TO ACTUALLY DRIVE. B.S., YOUR CAR DESERVES TO BE DRIVEN (WELL AFTER YOU TAKE ALL THAT RICEY NONSENSE OFF)

HAVE FUN, AND BE SAFE!

Trailer queens is just BS.  That to me is a waste of money.  My car is show but was never a real dedicated show car.  I never had a system, no stupid tv's, and the only bling you'll see in my car is carbon fiber or leather.  And that was the big reason I never won a HIN event but I refuse to add that bs in my car.  I'll see you in the track very soon.  I'll be competing at the GT Live Tour in VA next year!
