They are great cars, lots of fun, and the 1.8 turbo motor can easily make over 250hp. Its a great track/canyon carver and doesn't get as much attention as S2ks and 350z but are just as good. They are also good looking inside and out and are pretty cheap for what you get. (Average of $15-20k for a 2005 with 40k miles.

I agree, but I haven't seen very many miata tuners on the roads. They're a much less common car, which is why I'm guessing they get featured less. It's probabl very hard to come by a well designed tuner miata, just as it's hard to find a nicely customized DeLorean. They just aren't as common as S2Ks and Z's.
If anything I'd be happy about this fact. There's usually less aftermarket support, but you get the pleasure of knowing that there aren't 15,000 other miatas out there with the same mods.
