OK folks. Here is THE OFFICIAL tour itenary.
Thursday Sept. 13th
Wicked Dreamz car club will lead the tour from Miami @ AT Electronics 88th ave & bird rd. leave at 10AM.
The tour will proceed from there to Hooters in Melbourne.arriving around noon departing by 2pm.
This part is still open, Wicked Dreamz may take the beach line to Orlando and pick up an Orlando caravan, or a group from Tampa will lead the charge through Orlando. Still working out these details and will update this section when the information is solid.
Either way, all vehicles will be arriving at Destination Daytona (exit 273) off I95 by 6pm. Park the vehicles and its time to party. Entertainment will be provided by Saints & Sinners pub. There will be ongoing contest and raffle giveaways with an award ceremony for tour organizers. Party will go until.... we get tired and want to stop for the night.
Hotel reservations can be made for the Destination Daytona Suites (onsite) or the Super 8 or Days inn across the street from the venue. (it is in walking distance and the cars can be safely left at Destination. There will be all night security patrolling the lots).
Friday Sept. 14th
Wake up call at 8:00 am. Breakfast buffett will be served until 9:30am. Final meeting time is 9:45 and we roll north on I95.
10:15 am stop at exit #318 St. Augustine Premier Outlet Mall. This is a pick up stop only. Will be on the road by 10:30
11:15 Lunch/gas Exit 347 Jacksonville. This will be a major meeting point and pick up.
12:00 resume tour across I10 to I75.
1:15- 1:30 Stop at exit 2 I75 Ga. Truck stop/ DQ refuel,pit stop,meet up with I75 caravan and Valdosta Ga crew.
3:00 exit# TBD Tifton Ga. Last pit stop before Atlanta.
Arrive at Atlanta Motor Speedway between 5pm/ 5:30 Victory Laps on the track for the biggest South leg EVER !!!!  

Heres some more information.
The "Official" hotel of the tour is the Destination Daytona Inn & Suites. This hotel is Onsite  at the Thursday night tour party. It is almost filled up. For reservations call 877-498-1500. Be sure to state that you are booking a room for the Nopi Tour to get the discounted rate.
There is also a Days Inn across the street. Their rate is $69.95 + tax for the night. Reservations can be made at 386-672-7341.
Super 8 Motel $69.95+tx call 386-672-6222 They offer internet access, 27" tv with free HBO, Microwaves & fridges available, complimentary continental breakfast.

i just notice but do you think that we'll b able to make it to the track on time....with the current time leaving from tifton...2-2.5hrs is kinda pushin it.

We want to make sure everyone eats before they leave. But the time can  be changed.  

Actually I just spoke with Michael Myers, the NOPI Man himself, on the phone today.  He would like us to arrive no later than 6 pm, so the South Leg will be at the track before this time.  All participants of the tour will need to maintain our schedule if they would like to take advantage of the "Victory Lap" of the Speedway upon arrival.  NOPI TOUR 2007!

Just want to add something here. I know it may sound odd but we would really like to see some jacksonville people attend the Thursday night event as well.
You guys don't have to wait for us in Jax.
The event Thursday night is a pre-party of sorts. There will be lots going on down there so please join us.
Confirmed today that Mazda will be present at the event and will be offering Ride & Drives. Heres your chance to test drive a new Mazda.
Also, Diane, Sorry I haven't been in contact, but great job on organizing the tour from Miami. Can't wait to meet you and the crew at the event.

this is my first time goin with the tour but i live in valdosta georgia and dont get out school until 3:00 and i waws really wanting to join driving around the track do u kno if there will be straglers or what cause thats my maine thing is kinda making it there with yall beacase you are riding through at 1:30

I'm sure there will be stragglers but you wont make it to the track on time to take the "Victory Lap". I'd say make arrangements to get off early that day.
