Any further CONCRETE info for the trip south at this point?  

The concrete plans as of yet are that the guys from the north will be meeting at the maryland house rest stop at 8AM to leave at 9 sharp.  we will drive through to VA to meet up with the rest of the tour in chester for lunch.  Anyone that falls in between those areas send your Cell phone number to me at DANIELMILLER@adelphi.edu.  I will get in touch with you guys to plan on places to meet up with all of the rest.  thats the plan.  everyone and I do mean everyone get intouch with me to let me know what your plans are so we can have a kick ass tour down.  thanks

yo is the tour stopping in NC again for lunch like last year because i havent heard of anything in NC yet someone let me know  

the only stop in NC is greensboro for the overnight stay on thursday night... maybe on friday.  

@ 97wrpdsol (and anyone else speaking for a group) Are you interested in getting everyone to meet at the rest stop outside Kings Dominion as suggested earlier:

My team likes the idea because everyone in MD and North VA that dont want to backtrack to the Maryland house would like a place to join together. It would be easier at a large rest stop to gather and meet each other before going into town for lunch. And we'll share some free CRUNK!!! What do you think?

All of us in this thread will be doing lunch in VA, then going straight to the Greensboro hotel. After that its the Official Super Street route found here: 2007 SS TOUR  

yea i didnt even see that everyone was staying over night in greensboro. what time will everyone be leaving the hotel to go to nopi  

So, I assume we need to register with SuperStreet for the balance of the tour? Not to mention hotel resevations, correct?  

I am NC and have a crew of about 5-8 cars that want to join the trip down. Could someone that is staying the night in Greensboro let me know what hotel you are staying at and when the tour picks up again?

In years past the TOUR left the Sheraton in Greensboro between 8:30 and 9:00 am on Friday morning.  

I know where the Maryland house is now!!!! God I feel dumb.. We stop there all the time for dinner on the way back up... Exit 58 right???

Anyways,, which parkign lot is everyone gonna be in??? I take it prob the first one when coming down southbound... Plans still haven't been finalized for an overnight with the Jersey guys.. I e-mailed GraFX and NOS again and I'm waiting for a message back but right now it looks like we might just do a Baltimore overnight if anyone from PA,NJ,NY,Conn, and further north is interested... Details will follow this week-end...  

The kings dominion stop is fine to meet up with you fellas.  send me your cell phone numbers via email.  Danielmiller@adelphi.edu.  and we will coordinate meeting up with everyone between the maryland house and the hooters in chester.  so if you guys wanna meet up there that would be cool.  if not we could just meet at the hooters for lunch.  this way the north guys could meet at maryland and we will meet everyone else at lunch at hooters.  but we can also stop and pick you fellas up at the kings dominion stop.  and for the northern guys.  the maryland house stop is pretty easy to navigate.  if your looking for us we'll be easy to find.  look for a yellow del sol and a rust colored srt4.  thats where we'll be...  hope everyones pumped. the time is comin quick  

Well guys , my plans for NOPI have been spoiled for several reason's    I have a friend that will be getting married that weekend, big wedding; which i didn't even realize until 2 weeks ago!  We just bought a house and i could really use the time to get things done, plus, my car just isn't ready for NOPI this year like it was back in 2002.  Ive been using it as my daily driver for the past 4 months because my daily beater needs a head gasket at 320K miles.  
   I would however like to meet up with you guys at the Doswell stop and cruise down to Hooters in Chester, since Chester is afterall my hometown, i live only a few miles from the Chester, Hooters.  Yea, im quite bummed out i can't go down with you guys, but it will give me something to really look forward to next year in 2008.  Sorry to let you guys down, but id still like to have a few cold beers with you all at Hooters, since, afterall, i am on vacation that week still.
