This is also my 6th year on the tour, and Im hoping that this year will be the best yet. Im trying to figure out where this "Maryland House" rest stop is in relation to where we are. A couple guys are coming from Anne Arundel County and me and a couple guys are coming from the White Marsh area. What I want to avoid is backtracking. If the Maryland Hosue is farther north, then maybe after you guys meet up, we can plan a stop further south on 95 to join up with you. Lets aim to have a final plan for ALL of us on the North leg by the end of this week.

I looked up white marsh in relation to the maryland house. White marsh blvd is only about 15 miles south of the rest stop. I couldn't find anne arundel county so I dont know where that is in relation. If you guys are that adverse to driving up to the rest stop then after we meet all the guys coming from up north, we can meet you guys somewhere a little farther south. The maryland house is just very easy for all the guys coming from the north states. Let me know what you think.

Hello North leggers! Im from Richmond, Virginia and we are trying to get a crew together in this area and then tag along with you northern guys as you make your way down Interstate 95. Exit 98 (Doswell,VA) Kings Dominion Theme Park, there is a truck stop across the street and has a very large lot in the back that is open during the day...i drive a truck for a living and this is my slack off spot, nap time, etc... when i run that area! Im just throwing out ideas here, also there is a Hooters in Chester, VA exit 61. Tour 2005 stopped her for lunch. Well, i'll check back here often to see what you guys come up with. I know the tour will be here fast, heck i dunno what im even driving......my 1988 Dodge Daytona- 1st place in 2002 NOPI -American Sport Compact-Other-Conservative. Or should we take my wife's 2004 RX-8.....all stock.

Im definitely not against driving to the Maryland House. Im just trying to plan what would be best for EVERYBODY. I figure if you guys are meeting there, you would be coming down 95 anyways, so why not just link up with you on your way down? One guy is meeting me in White Marsh and we are gonna hook up the trailer (towing the eclipse down) to the F250, and then heading down 95 to meet up with the other 2 Crunk!!! promotion guys (whom live in Anne Arundel County near Arundel Mills Mall). We can either exchange cell phone numbers and meet up with you guys somewhere along 95, or we can try and ALL meet up at the rest stop near Kings Dominion that the Virginia guys are grouping at. I believe we are going to stop at the Hooters in Chester,Virginia (where the tour stopped 3 years ago) for lunch and a brew, if that is something that interests you guys.

Well, I think if you Northern guys leave early Thursday morning, by noon you will prob want to get something to eat. I think the Hooters stop here in Chester worked out pretty good for Tour 2005. Its right off of I 95 exit 61, usually plenty of parking on the sides of the hotel. After getting a bit to eat and drink its a nice cruise down to Greensboro for the evening. Let me know what you guys think?

Ok, what we are throwing around now is leaving my place in White Marsh at about 6:15am to meet the guys from Anne Arundel at the rest stop just past route 32 (pass 100, then 175, then 32 and on the right is a rest stop) on 95 South. Then we can head towards Kings Dominion to meet up with the Virginia guys at that Rest Stop by 10. I dont know what time you guys are meeting at the Maryland House, but maybe ALL of us could meet up at the Kings Dominion Rest Stop around 10 and then roll out as a crew. The only thing is that if we do that, then we'd have to figure something else out for lunch cause I believe this rest stop is near the Hooters, and lunch at 10am would be too early. Also, as I said in the previous post, we also could link up through cell phones along 95. The biggest thing for us would be to get everyone to group together. Whether it is stopping at multiple rest stops along the way, pulling over on 95 so people can catch up, or signifying one location for everyone to meet at a specific time.
REST STOP WE ARE PLANNING ON MEETING AT AROUND 7am BEFORE HEADING TOWARDS VIRGINIA:

Hey guys, my names Chuck and I'm in B$Crane's group representing CRUNK!! Energy Drink on the TOUR and starting off in the Blatimore area. B$Crane, myself, and the rest of our group have been reading, taking it all in, and can see that the plan is pretty solid. We really want to see everyone eventually join together by lunch time, so 97wrpdsol, 2000boostedcivic1, and eurodaytona, tell us what you think of the following:
The guys from the North Maryland or further can meet at the MD House exit which is at about exit 83 on 95. Please post the time you think you can try to DEPART from there. Our guys will try to meet you on 95 about 1hr south. Maybe one of you can share your cell number to help us cordinate (email me at charlesjhudson@yahoo.com) We'll all meet up together with the VA group at exit 98 reststop near Kings Dominion before heading into Chester (south Richmond) for lunch. To decide when we are meeting at exit 98, we need a rough estimate for your departure time from the MD House.
MD House rest stop exit 83 on 95 -- 159 miles 2.75 hrs plus traffic -- Kings Dominion rest stop exit 98 on 95

That sounds like a good plan. Ill email my cell phone so we can coordinate everything. We can probably meet at the maryland house at like 8 leave maybe at 830. Everyones gotta be on time though. No fashionably late. So we can go from there as far as time tables go. Everyone thats meeting up at the maryland house, let me know if this sounds good to you guys.

I think this plan so far sounds great. Only 5 weekends left to get ready for the show, i know it will go by quick. We have plenty of time to fine tune the details on the trip to Greensboro though. My crew of 5 cars so far would meet up at the "All American Travel Plaza" truck stop in Doswell, VA - right across from Kings Dominion Theme Park. Here is a link: http://www.allamericanplazas.com/Doswell/DosHome.htm Like I said they have a large open lot in the back that we could all meet up at. From the Truck stop to Chester is about 37 miles, about 35 to 40 minutes depending on our speed. For those of you who went on Tour 2005, you prob remember the Hooters in Chester for the Lunch stop, which worked out good. Aighty, well i think these are the best suggestions i can come up with for my area, we can decide in the weeks to come on the Tour details.

Ok I will be at the MD house by 715 so I dont mis any one. I will have a fue cars with me. I like the idea of hooters only because we did it in 05 and it went vary well. In 06 the lunch stop had plenty of parking but kinda sucked. I will go where ever we all go. Hope to have a nother badass time. Thanks to all who are still trying to make this happen!
