hi i own a 3000GT VR-4 and have been racing it alot in the last year or so. i take my car to lots in citys and larger towns through out n.y. looking at different rides , taking up challenges and meeting new people all the time.I can tell more if anybody is intersted.share the following(races, your ride, parking lot nights,car-projects,struggles,accomplishments,upgrades to your car and u can just tell a story about life as a street racer). if u have to make something up to make it more intresting feel free. i just want this to be fun for every body.

I admit I have raced on the street before as im sure most people have.  The best story I have was racing down a major highway at 4 in the morning.  At the time I had an ecu reflash, cai and exhaust - Acura rsx type s - my car was slow... but so was the car I was racing  - an Audi TT.  We started at a toll booth, there was no one else on the road so it felt fairly justified.  We were neck and neck all the till about a 140 where my car topped out at the time.  I kept it pegged for a good mile or 2.  Neither of us gaining on each other.

It was a good time

well any way iam still new.sounds like u got a little rush.once i had my friend video type me in my 3000GT VR-4(stock twin turbos, injen air intake,3sx headers and boral exhaust)racing a guy in a 1969 supercharged camaro ss.he had me 0-60 but once in 4th gear 8,000rpms hearing the turbos spool up i shift in to 5th let of the clutch floored the accelerator and flung ahead of the camaro by like 8-10 car lenths then i go into 6th top my car out at 160mph.(i won)-but theres more to the story.the guy (before the race)said his brother had died in the camaro in a drag race and after his brothers death he restored the camaro in memory of his brother.well thats one of my storys.thanks for sharing yours.
