I own a bike and car and love both. But the bike definitely saves me some gas money. However, go with what you love the most for sure!!

The problem is that bikes are way cheaper than cars. So get the one that keeps you dry and has A/C and then when you catch up with the bills try to get the bike. Bikes are selling like hot cakes right now due to the fuel issue but they certainly are still cheaper than cars. For practicality, first the car, then the bike.
