I am new to this site and am not sure where this goes so ill post here. Me and my son just bought a 1998 Acura Integra GSR to have as a project car and we would like to start upgrading it so we made a list of the things we would like to get for it over the next year or so. We are just looking if these are good decisions, if were missing anything important, if were going overboard, and if it will all be compatible.

Engine
Injen Cold Air Intake
Greddy Turbo Kit
Zex Wet Shot Nitrous System
Greddy Intercooler
HKS Racing Bypass Valve 6-12psi
AEM High Volume Fuel Rails
AEM fuel pressure regulator
AEM High Performance Fuel Filter
Holley In-Tank electric Fuel Pump
Venom Fuel Injectors
MSD SCI/SCI-L CD Ignitions

Brakes
Baer PBR Serious Street

Exhaust
DC Sports Stainless Steel 4-2-1 header
Comptech Cat Back

Suspension
Koni Twin Tube Low Pressure Shocks
H&R Sport Springs
Spoon Strut Tower Bars (front + rear)
Comptech Swaybar
Spoon Lower Arm Bar (front + rear)

Transmission
ACT Organic Performance Street Disc Clutch
Neuspeed Racing Short Shifter

Electronics + Gauges

Well for starters you seem to have the whole car setup already planned out.  Which is a plus, but you need to start on one area first.  If it was me I would start out on engine or suspension first, and then base the rest of the parts needed on what you have already modified.

Secondly, I see you listed a Greddy Turbo Kit and also some headers.  I think the kit comes with a turbo header application.

Lastly have a HP goal set.  Its the B18C engine with 170 hp with compression at 10.0:1  which will pose a problem for high boost applications.  Also with higher boost numbers  7+ PSI for the stock block is problem.  You will need to get high strength piston rings and maybe forged pistons with lower compression #'s  and connecting rods, and sleeving the block.

Don't forget lightweight Alloy rims! It makes a difference in acceleration (less mass).

Hope this helps and others add more comments.

i believe the greddy kit comes with an intake.  Depending on how much boost your going to run would depend on if you needed to upgrade your internals, but I see that you want to run a nitrous set up as well.  If this is the case I would recommend building your bottom end as it looks like you are going for some big hp numbers.  Again, with a turbo setup you will not need a header, the greddy kit comes with a turbo manifold you might also want to look into a little bit bigger width exhaust then the comptech.  The AEM engine management is good, you might also want to look into Hondata

good luck!

i would personally leave the squeeze alone, its never good unless you plan on strictly drag racing and have a motor/engine management to handle it.

i have a pretty simple turbo setup on my 90 integra(with JDM version of your engine), go to readers rides and find me, my setup is there for things you will need to do to safely run around 300whp with 10 lbs of boost on a stock bottom end. if you want more power than that, bottom end will need lower compression. you can run 10psi if you have enough fuel, 450cc DSM injectors worked out for me but i could use a lil bigger injectors, but never the less you will need at least 450's to boost 10psi safely. and that is pushing it, if you have good engine management like my hondata s200 and a proper dyno tune 10psi is fine, i run a consistent 11.8:1-12:1 air/fuel ratio which is safe. but i was running out of fuel between 290-300whp...............if i had 650cc's i mightve squeezed a lil more out of it.
my greddy boost controller is a lil erratic as well, tough to get perfect, if anyone else has a different suggestion i would try a different controller(i dont like it).]
also try an intake manifold like a skunk2 manifold.....alot of this is depending on the power your trying to make.....fill us in.
