Im a Chevy guy, but the Ford 5.0 is a good motor. Forged Steel crank, pistons, and i think rods. I havent heard of one splitting in half, I doubt it would happen at even 500hp. If you can give me some evidence, id like to see it. As for a 4 cylinder making 1500hp on a stock bottom end, I have to say BS. That I would love to see.
Some of you guys need to go back to enlish class.

It's actually quite common once you make an excess of 500hp

Their either running on borrowed time, or don't have 500hp at all.

Hmmm how about a mustang board,  you are a complete idiot and a waste of air, " dam inport racer "  for 1. learn to spell, then after you get that down, learn to read. You obviously know jack [censored] about anything, just spouting off your mouth. I own an import, yes, that dosn't mean that im conceeded to my own littler corner and know nothing aside from 4 cylinders. And, my " dam inport racer " is probably faster than your mustang was, certainly faster than it is now, and faster than probably any of your friends make believe cars.

And for you non-believer's , I made it easy for you, this is just 1 of many discussions that can be found all over the web.

4 bolt main 302 block eagle crankshaft and connecting rods
holly dominator 1150cfm
jegs gear drive(noisy)(best thing u can put on a car)
msd 7a ingnition and msd dist
crane 306-2 cam w/ .520/.526 lift
super victor 8.2 intake
hooker super comp longtube headers
wich will flow into s manual 4 speed then in to a posi rear end
then later a plan on adding 1 pro race fogger systems from Nos that should give it 1200hp w/ the nos and w/ out 725
hopefuly
still lookin for heads that i like but if i cant find any i will make a costum pair

all motor is the only way i will go
