Any way, just to keep real about this gay new economy. You can blame President Chooch (Bush), and every politician before him, for our head aches. Due to all that has happened in the past 6 years, since he's been in office, things have been progressively getting worse. Our national deficit is at a historical high. And who do you suppose is going to pay for all that war spending that Pres. Chooch has bestowed upon our nation... Our kids and grandchildren, that's who. I don't see this hobby of ours lasting 10, 15 or even 20 years more due to every thing that's happening now. World oil reserves are at least 50 years to depletion at current consumption and we haven't even begun to touch the subject of how our hobby and sport is going to fit in when the poop hits the fan. I goof on all those wet behind the ears, pimple faced idiots as much as ever one else but who do you think will take tuning to the next level? I don't think I'll live long enough to see that horrible day when the world runs out of oil and we still haven't found a viable fuel sourse.  Don't get me wrong, I will continue to goof on them but also educate and fill them with exitement for the trade and hobby that you and EVO_someday enjoy so much. And for all the V8 porkers out there who feel that the 4cyl. and inline 6 engines can't compete... this whole economy thing also affects you just as much and even worse. Your fuel hungry, easy to build, non-challenging, every one's done it already engines are to blame for the fuel economy issue. I love a solid, woody stiffening V8 as much as any red blooded American but when it comes to power to weight ratios and what has already been done to imports in the name of HORSE POWER... well, lets just say that you need to work with us tuners. Like I said, this issue affects you as well. Let's all have fun in the name of HORSE POWER. Mellow dramatic, you say??? May be so, but just keep an eye on our economy and see if it doesn't affect us.

wow.....preach it man that was true and powerful stuff, i never even reallly geve much thouhgt to it that way, im just living for the moment. my future is devoted mainly get as many cars as i can before they become extinct. dammit i hate bush but uk what sucks even more, that we have to conform to this economy, its almost impossible to make much money in the auto industry these days whereas dumb bush gets paid like 300,000 a year to f us up!!!

For all those who have been reading my comments up till' now, I've been experimenting on bio-fuels as an alternative ,for our imports, with out having to change the stuff that has already been put into it. I'm also keeping in mind the fact that it still has to be emission legal. Alcohol and some other bio-fuel mix is my experiment as of late. Some body has to do some thing if the government keeps sitting on their fart holes and kissing the wrong fart holes in the process. Any way I never meant to preach to any one but when you have V8 huggers bashing all imports and import lovers alike, they forget that all that is important is that we keep alive what affects them as well. Instead of respect for what achievements we've made in the industry they bash us with out looking at the bigger picture. I will always continue to goof on Honda lovers with the respect of knowing that Hondas are actually very good cars. It is what it is and if any one wishes to build one I will help him/her on that build in the name of our sport. Thank God for Super Street Magazine and all the other mags out there that cater to our love of "import tuning", no pun intended there. Now I must educate, severely, a forum respondent that hates our love of imports and drives a pickup with over 200k miles on his odometer, lldjslim is his ID. Hey miamito why don't you join in the fun if you already haven't? Read you there!!!

I got a 240 as my name says I have a CAI from E-bay only b-cuz the k&n kit was not in my price range ( student allowance) NE how I live in TO, Canada while I was typing this I wnt out on my balcony and what do I see: A 92-95 civic 4 door Avenger Kit and Fart can in tow. Now I know my car is rated at 155 hp however she's 16 so I'm guessing she got about 100-130 if so much but I seriously think I can hunt those lil bastards down and Pink Slip them and sell their *** boxes for my old girl's benefit my future mods ( next 2 months) body work and lip (Crashed her "tryin out the brakes") other than cosmetic tho JWT or BC st2 cams, electric fan, rebuild kit, st3 clutch kit,fidanzda 11 Lb Flywheel she's canadian so I got the R200VLSD however I'm not accustomed to the Brakes (hence the crash)

Question: is it smart to switch to ABS?

I am seasoned in HP & TQ however the whole rice idea I dont think is all F N F Paul Walker did own a R34 I saw it on The Du Pont Registry website however actor will make small investments like that to sell thier movie brand. Only one problem with your thread. Rear spoilers on FF cars. I drive an 01 1.8t beetle and it comes with a factory retractable spoiler. Not that i'm claiming to know anything, but if the germans think that a spoiler that deploys after a certian speed (in my case 90mph) then it probably serves a signaficant performance advantage. But there is still a problem which most don't address on the auto spoiler feature of the beetle. Alot of "euro tuners" who have beetle turbos add a non functional cosmetic spoiler. This modification can drasticly reduce performance by causing air to catch under the spoiler and lift the rear end of the car.
