why make that much power on a FWD?

Just wanted to see what this car is capable of. We'll find out sometime in March when the track open back up and we'll throw on a set of drag radials or slicks and see how fast in the quarter.

I used to own a 350Z.  I had 18x9/FR and 18X10/R Motegi Touges, carbon fiber hood and bumber on the Z.  I traded it on a used 05" Evo Mr ed, but I kept all the after market stuff.  I am doing a 5-lug and a Z32 brake converson to an 89" 240sx Coupe, and I will be putting the Motegi rims on the car. I really like my EVO but I still miss my Z but stock to stock the EVO could defeat it probaby in most types of races.  The 240sx will take a while because it's like restoring a muscle car because it involves body, paint and engine work.  I purchased a used engine to replace the blown one and I just need to have running so I can drive it back home after I graduate college next year.  I hope with a new job that I can fund my projects.  I want to do a total JDM conversion to my Nissan except for the steering wheel of course.  Far as my EVO goes I want to make some crazy but reasonable HP number. My plan is to invest about $6,000 in my EVO but alot more in my Nissan. Maybe I will get a sponsor one day.  I can't wait to hear about the 350Z in the future.  Good luck on your projects.

Here's one for you to think about:

Thats a one fast Z.  Well I ordered a full complete with body panel S13 front clip for my 240sx.  If you stay in the auto field we are bound to run into each other.  I plan to fuel my car hobby with my new career after I graduate college this year.  I hope to some drifting soon.  We I had my 350z I would out driving by myself between 1am and 5am to empty lots and long roads between corn fields (I live in Kansas) and do some crazy driving.  I expect to have my 240sx coverted to an S13 clone in a year.  I will keep you posted.

it's more capable than what it is making now. throw in better rods, better cams, and better trans then stroke it more, bore it out. put in biggest turbo your space allows or cut up your hood.

before, i forget. do a rwd conversion!

RWD would ruin the point! RWD is way over done anyone can throw thousands of hp in a RWD monster. FWD is much more challenging mechanically and for the driver. Now-a-days anyone can pour money into a shop and make a badass RWD dragster, but FWD actually takes talent.

Props to Kenny for holding it down in North Texas !!!972!!!

are you telling me the whole point of this was just be a fwd car with alot of power? if so, he are proving nothing. there are plenty of 1kfwhp at the tracks.

last time i checked, the real point to this was to have scion with highest hp.

It's been awhile since I reply back. We've been so busy with this new race car and it's finally done. Check it out: www.jotechracing.com. We will have it at our next event at NHRA Sport Compact down in Moroso, Florida.

still sounds like you have an insane turbo on the car, what kind of injectors are you using? must eat a grip of fuel.  and also what kind of fuel are you running on the tc.

My good friend is a mechanic so i decided to put the turbo ob with him but we have a little problem becouse he is not 100% sure about where to instal the in-let and out-let for the oil and where do we have to drill the holes, can you help me with that. I just wnt to be 100% sure about that.
