Who is SupraMKIII? And I surely didn't insult you. Did I? At least, I think I didn't... Did I, Cuda1? I only commented about how Fords quality sucked as of the past 10 years...
BUT, I am in agreeance with you on this "under 11sec." civic! I'm sure they exsist on track, but how reliable a ride is it on the street. It couldn't be a daily driver! For those kind of times, there must have been a lot of money invested... and if so why risk it on the street! Again, if it is a daily driver as well......................................................Black monkey you didnt insult me at all i pulled that from a diffrent post....as far as ford quality being bad in the past 10 years i dont mind that comment the only reason i bought mine was because it had low miles, the whole vehicle inside and out was in mint condition, and i got a great deal on it the 5.0 in it was just icing on the cake.......not a choice i would have made if i could have spent the money i would have liked to spend

I think I'de do the same thing, given a choice. We're cool! I believe that the automotive world as a whole lives by the "planned obsolescence" train of thought! I actually like Fords for their looks. They have gotten prettier over the years. I'm just not happy with all the junk that happens to them within a few thousand miles of driving them from new. I fixed so many issues with the over all product that it left a bad taste in my mouth for it. Then sales dropped and poop started to hit the fan for them. It would be "THE" product to buy if they abolished the quantity over quality mind set. It seems that way to me, any way. I fixed a 2001 Explorer, when I was contracted to this particular dealer for a few months, with leaks and electronic issues with the PCM and related modules that opperate the dash module. Ford loves the word module for some reason... any way, it was all due to the poor roof rack and moon roof frame construction! There was a TSB to supposedly correct the issue and actually didn't. It ended up being the end caps on the moon roof frame that had water by passing the caps. There should have been more quality control or more R&D done to eliminate those types of issues. But hey, Who am I for trying to make Ford a better product, right?

Bud, it seems as if you'll need to travel a bit to get what you want. I'm assuming that you live in lower Florida due to your user name. If so, I really feel for you... Florida is a BIG state. My brother recently moved up to Ct. from Miami. He's a building contractor. He's already missing it down there and he's only been here in Ct. for 6 days now. Can't say I blame him. I visited Miami from time to time and I too have seen what he's missing.
Any way, to get back to your problem... It will take some foot work on your part, unfortunately! Newspapers, car deal magazines and online shopping are at your disposal and if you're willing to travel some, it may be easier to find what you want. I'm in the process of looking for another daily driver to build up. My nephew and niece are becoming drivers soon and they are looking at me for a good car. It sucks to be me some times, but hey, I love them any way!
civic.slow is at it again with me! Can you believe it? I don't know about that dude! He could be another post office shooter type of guy, if you know what I mean! He hasn't even finished his car and he craps out of his mouth! You should see what he posted on my thread "some people will never learn"! He's a funny one all right...

lemme ask some questions to u..
how much u spend at the pump?!? how reliable is ur piece of *** ford?? and why is it my lil 96 eclipse beats mustangs and camaro's on the daily?? no, i dont have all that *** body kits, big ass bee sounding muffler or none of that, my car is plain white wit flat black 17's, lowered, and a turbo.. oh yea and only 4 cylinders... and I still beat ur v8's, while getting on average 26 miles a gallon wit the way i drive.. and yea i have lost to a camaro, but it was a 2002 and it was like 8000 more dollars more than my car, and it was still a close one.. but i still get a kick wen i beat a mustang and after the next light they say "damn that car is FAST!" haha.. but yea *** hondas tho..

tommygun? My uncle had one in his 20s and 30s collection of fire arms. Classic American art, if you ask me. They were some of the most coveted fire arms of that time. I had to say that 'cause your user name brought back that memory. Cool user name!
Any way, If you haven't noticed, lldjslim is defunct and spineless! He left the building a long time ago. He is not reprsentative of how all domestic car lovers feel, thank GOD! I've visited the other forums that cater to hot rods and the such and I'm glad to report that they are as open minded and respectful about imports as any of us. A little doubtful about our horse power claims, but open minded and respectful none the less. lldjslim is a no tooth, goober sucking, cow butt sniffin', dog testical playin' idiot that never had the COJONES to give a real debate about his dumbass comments. He was talking out of his collective bunghole and kinda' doesn't deserve the time of day from all of us educated folk in the tuning buisness. I know that there are a lot of guys that don't have too much experience with cars on this forum, but they get my complete respect and aid 'cause of their yerning to learn as much as they can about tuning cars. if you notice through out this forum there will be some doofuses and loud mouths but they are well intentioned and just need to learn how to communicate better. they know who they are and the ones that have written to me also know who I mean. Any way, lldjslim is a tool bag and due to his un-manly like exit will never have respect from any one on this forum!

I think that was well said, if I say so my self! We all come here to chit chat every now and then. So feel free to get into the present conversations, if you so desire, tommygun.

Battle scars are a testiment to an individuals toughness. Or does that phrase go towards martial artists... in any case, decent ride, tommygun!
