WTF people are thinking is that they are doing the same thing that many of the older street racers are/were doing. Back in the 60's, 70's etc what did the high school kids do? Take their parents vehicles that were given to them, and modify them. Same exact thing as whats going on now. It may not have a v-8, and it may not be a muscle car that is the dream of everyone to build, but they are working with what was given to them. So cut them some slack. And whether you like to admit it or not, taking a 15 sec car, and making it a 10 second car or less is quite impressive.
