ok so i got my first car its a '00 Plymouth Neon and i just got a few questions

1. would dodge neon parts work with a plymouth noen (i.e. hoods, body kits, etc.)

2. is there any possible way to put a larger engine in my car (i got a 4 banger but i want to put something with a little more kick if its possible)

3. this may sound stupid but i am stupid but yeah are the driver and passenger seats bucket seats?

i guess im done for now

1.  they are the same car.  thus, most any part would work on either one

2.  well... anything is possible with alot of money and fabrication.  the short answer is, no.  you're not going to do an engine swap.  you can modify the existing engine and get more power out of it though.  find a neon message board and learn about it there

3.  there's 2 types of seats in cars:  bench seats (whats in hte back of your car, resembles a park bench and bucket seats (whats in hte front of your car, looks like an office chair).

honestly im not sure i need a new engine or anything but id like to put in some headers, new exhuast system, and other things to give my car some more boost without NOS cuz my friends would give me [censored] if i put it inmy car....they still think that im a retard for wanting to put a body kit on it but its not bout them really....like i said im new to the modding scene and really to the car scene but i have friends that are helping me out so i guess i really just need some advice from people that have done the work

my only problem is that im still in high school and i dont make too much money but i make enough to save and buy it even with a car payment and it doesnt hurt that i just got a better paying job so...

Going the N/A route isnt THAT bad, my friend has an NA ACR 1st Gen Neon that he's put a bit into and runs 14.2 with it... i guess good luck then...

good luck with your neon! iv only seen a small handfull of nice looking one's and for the most part it will always look like one.  im not trashing the car, my roomate had one and i drove it all the time. but the question you have to ask yourself is how much do you want to spend on the thing.

N/A is Naturally Aspirated, meaning All-Motor or No-Forced induction... non turbo...

half the cars in the magazine are 4 bangers, lol... the SRT-4 is a mad quick car... seriously Swap the engine for the SRT-4 engine and you wont regret it, worth every penny spent

First off there isnt much engine to go around?  What does that mean?  If you are talking about the fact its a 4 banger there are plenty of fast 4 cylinder cars.

You obviously need to read a book, as you know nothing about cars at all. You probably arent competant enough to change your spark plugs, let alone install a nitrous kit. But alas, there is hope yet for you. Here is what you do:

1) Get inside of your Neon
2) Ghost ride it off the nearest cliff or bridge
3) Make an insurance claim
4) and most importantly, use money from insurance claim to buy an LS1 Camaro. At which point, you dont need to worry about modificaitons, as much as you do driving it off a cliff but not on purpose.

And thats enough "moder to go around".
