I have a b18a1 block and want to do an ls/vtec conversion. Will a crankshaft out of a b18b work in it? I going to run  high compression pistons, b16 head(port&polished), stock cams(for now)and ls or gsr tranny.Does anyone know if this is a descent setup? If it is, around what hp# & tq# will I be looking at. This setup is going in a civic eg. How fast can this get me in the 1/4 of a mile?  

mid 14's at best i would say, and sport compact car had a large articl on how to build an ls/vtec last year.  go find that issue
