Lucky! I used to have a 71 Camaro. I completely restored the thing down to the very last bolt on the inline 6 it had and some one stole it from the front of my home when I used to live in New Haven Ct. About 7 weeks later, the police called me to get the car from the impound yard. It wasn't a car any more. It was a husk on steel wheels. The wheels didn't even have tires on it.
I was 17 when that happened.

My dad had a 69(?) Monte Carlo SS. Very nice. VERY heavily modified. Then ruined it by turning it into a late model dirt track car. Dyno tested at 857 hp tho. It twisted the stock chasis off b4 they replaced it. He very rarely lost a race.

That's too bad about the SS. Not many of those around any more. I haven't seen any decent Grand Nationals, either. I wouldn't mind seeing some up close.

Yea havn a passion 4 cars isnt a bad thang at all I dont think. Then in the Super Stock class he made a car that was no model at all just parts he ordered. It was actually under the wight limit it was such a perfect race car that a tire spin on the track after the win would put exactly enuf dirt(its slightly wet) under the car to pass the weigh-in.

No engine mods? The SC300 is a nice ride, but I forget what engine is in there. A clue would help me get the fog out of my head. LOL! So far, it's good, though. What color is it and what other plans do you have? You have peaked my interest! LOL!

It's a stock V6 with quite a load of power, can't even rememebr all the specifics myself, but initially I'm going for exterior then full interior, so only time will tell to make it better.
Oh, and the color is the classy Pearl with a nice underglow of dark blue.
