I heard a rumor that I may be able to swap the engine in my 02 galant with an engine from a 3000GT. Is there any truth to this, and if not... What could I put in there that would dessimate all other stock sedans?

No Mitsu changed all of the engine disigns in 2000. Swaps are far more difficult in new Mitsus the in the older ones.

Very little if anything. The 2001 Mirage does not allow for the 4G63 swap at all. The engine would sit far too close to the firewall. You my be able to swap the MIVEC 2.0L into the Mirage thought. I haven't hear of it being done, bu tit is possable if you can find one.

it's decimate.
i dont think it'd be worth it. there's plenty of sedans in that class that already run low 14's as it is. start with one of those instead.

Call NORPA and see if the could hog out your stock flywheel. Turboing a car isn't always the answer. Turbo + unprepped motor = $$$$$$$. But if you are die hard I do sell turbo kits.

Now you're thinking JDM. All the Mirage is is a USDM Lancer. Now, I'm not sure about swapping parts/motors with a JDM AWD to a USDM FWD, but I know you'll have problems with steering component locations, possibly transmission locations from the AWD setup, among other problems. But good luck on your search.
