I h8 stupid american domestic drivers and there cars that think they know everything in the whole f-ing world!

Thanks for the idea JPG.  So let's see what the import tuners have to say.

First of all I would like to say that the Pontiac GTO sux, not the new ones cause those are cool.

i'm downgrading in order to save extra money.  if you knew the price of daycare you'd understand .  so when the kid(s) are in regular school i will have ALOT of money to buy something much nicer than the wrx

i hate civic owners who tell me to go JDM   i don't want no fake spoon rims, toda individual throttle bodies are not economical, i don't need reservoir covers because nothing has ever spilled out of them, i don't want an option/advan decal because i don't read option & have nothing from advan

I agree that the GTO sucks. Both new and old. The new one looks cool but stock to stock, a WRX STi and a GTO, the WRX can kick the GTO's ass. I'm not an "american domestic driver" or a "ricer", i only hate cars that are over-rated and under-perform... or over-priced and under-perform. Any combo of those will do. If its a decent car, i got no problem with it. If its an awesome car, i will defend it to the last word.

American spec STi= teh gay. We get the 2.5L garbage, Japan gets the real deal 2.0.

The new GTO, while having somwhat bland styling, is a sweet car. I do have mixed feelings about it, they could have done a few things design and exterior wise to make the car nicer, but overall, it's sick. The interior is sweet too. Not to mention the new ones are LS2 powered.

If you think a 1967 Pontiac GTO with a 389 cid plant, three two barrel carbs and a four speed tranny is gay, you are either a hater, or an idiot, or both. One of the best muscle cars of all time.

no way.  bigger = better.  more power potential with more lower end torque, and more importantly better drivability with that power.

This is one of the few cases your going to see where sheer displacement, while good for making more power, isn't always the best. The 2.0 *** engine was built for rally racing, it is a superior engine design wise. The 2.5 isn't quite as strong as the 2.0.

the reason the gto is the best muscle car of all time is cause it came out before the rest of the muscle cars.  no, the mustang is not a muscle car, and even if it was, it came out after the gto, halfway through 64, while the gto came for 64.

Hell no, no way. GTO is definitely not the best muscle car of all time. Even tho it is one of the first to come out, i still say it sucks. Just coz ur the first to do something doesnt mean u did it right. I'll give it the credit of having better acceleration when racing stock to stock with other muscle cars, but it has a low top speed of 112 mph. The 69 camaro ss has a top speed of at least 140. I grant it the title of a pioneer car, but not greastest muscle car of all time. Oh and btw, the mustang was a pony car, not a muscle car. Pony cars were an attempt to make a cheaper, lighter car that could beat a muscle car.
