wow..I think hondasrule and jdmludegirl need to relax a little...it's just a forum people....just a forum!!! "foozbah...come on..say it with me now people...fooooz bahhhh (anger management). (Remember this..."sticks and stones can break my bones but words can never hurt me!" ..lol. To the people who do not know what JDM is and do not understand it...well go figure it out on yourselves b/c you people seem hopeless and are not able to grasp anything. Keep on doing your research while our cars make it to magazines. How old are you people really? 13? 15?

Timingbelt changes, mobilizers, ecu's, put springs on, camberkits, exhaust kits, delt with all kinds of f-ing electrical sh*t. Had to take a motor apart cause my friend blew it with some skunk2 stage 1 cams cause it was a JDM b16sir and it was an automatic, only got the cams and saying that droped a valve and well you figure the rest out. So pulled that motor out and broke it down to look at the damage. Then put a JDM b16sirll engine in that comes with 10 more hp then the usdm ones i know not alot, but whatever. I have done my share of engine work and knowing what I am talking about! So i can talk smack. You may have done more with different kinds of engines. But i know Honda engines pretty freaking well. Mainly because the people i hang with all i have nice JDM Honda style cars and we help each other with our problems. Not one of us is a ricer. I do know what ricers look like and i know what they are. There is some ugly *** in this town. It doens't matter if it is a Honda or not, if it is done ugly it is ugly.

just wondering, what are you basing that you know more about japanese cars than he does? i mean, unless you both compare notes, which i think you should do, just so someone, i don't care who, but someone gets put in their place. ps, honda is not the end all, in fact, toyota and nissan have better performance than honda. honda was built to be passive good reliable cars. nissan and toyota, to be driven(yes i am stealing volswagen's slogan, but i hate nazi's so i can do that.) so that starts this argument, which of you two knows more, and i want facts, what you have done, when, how much it cost etc. then maybe this [censored] measuring contest can be over.

yeah right ![]() . if the seal was poor enough to allow leakage, then it would also be poor enough to allow moisture to creep into the system, resulting in enough brake failures to warrant a federal safety recall.
either way, a sweatband isnt going to keep the fluid in. if that was the real problem someone would have found a jdm-sweet (lol ![]() ) cap with a better seal to fix the problem instead.
actually it does, take a look at the seals it not air tight if it was you would have more problems as in when the fluid gets hot it expands and if it was tight you would have other leaks, yeah water gets in there, as you know brake fluid is hydroscopic and can absorbe water right from the air, thats why if you look even in your owners manual they recommend getting the fluid changed every 40000-50000 miles and the main reason is because of water is being absored into the fluid.

Ive wrenched on all kinds of cars, from old school Chevys, to Hondas, stock cars, buddies' race cars, you name it. I have my preferences obviously, but we all know how to appreciate things for what they are. You, my friend, are a "sheep". An H-badge zombie. You say you've worked on import cars, you bash domestics (you hate on our country, and hate our cars? Mabey you should be deported....) but you don't know about what a fast import is if it ran you over.
For one, I don't want to bash on Honda people as a whole, but it's internet idiots like you, JDMPreludeGirl, who make me resent Honda people. Why? Well, you ramble on about V-TEC, mabey did some tune ups on a few Civics, whatever, so that makes you knowlegeable enough for internet smack talk. I call BS. Go ride in a REAL [censored] import (Toyota Supra, Mitsubishi Eclipse turbo/Eagle Talon TSi/Plymouth Laser, Lancer Evolution, ect.) and then come talk to me about imports. My "import" comes across "JDM" clunkers all day long around here, and most all of them don't have nothing but some 125hp pile of crap Honda engine. I laugh when I see the Honda guys who turbo their beaters, only to run 15s and blow up their popcicle stick connecting rods and open-deck designed pos econo-engines.
You need to give respect where it's due, friend, because nobody likes a hater, especialy an ignorent one. It's people like YOU who kept me from getting into these kind of cars for a long time, because the scene is infested with idiots.
I'm glad I've found my niche- the DSM crowd. THEY can go fast for cheap with a four cylinder, and most still respect domestics for what they are. Most Honduh idiots like you don't.

hey no problem man, i know you know i know my stuff, and to jdm girl technically right now we are ahead of the japanese in at least in honda tuning technology( and would be ahead in supra and skyline tuning if they realeased more of the cars and in the skylines case brought it over to begin with), we are the ones who started the swapping craze in hondas not them, we are the ones that came out with the frankenstein motor, we are the ones who started turboing hondas, and we are the only ones who put a k-series into a crx and made it availabe for the public, not what japanese companies do, make a on off car that no one else can make again, when americans tune cars they do it so that if someone else wants to do it they can.

I understand JDM very well, and I indentify it as a mutated form of single vehicle make rice. Yes, vehicles originaly manufactured in Japan are better in some aspects, but I just find it goofy that theirs people out their who are all obsessed about a " civic thats jdm". So Japan is the only place on earth where cars are badass? I want to challenge that. Show me a jdm Honda Civic that is fixed up, to its full potential, and can beat, for a example, a FIXED UP, to their full potential, not just in power and speed, but also in handling, supra, corvette, mustang, wrx sti, talon, 240sx, lancer, ferrari, lamborghini, z4, porsche, slk, beetle turbo, viper, charger, camaro, aston martin V12,V8, MR-2,rx7,miata, skyline, 300zx, 350z, maserati.

How about a NSX all JDM "fixed up" to its full potential can you handle that. I think that is alittle more resonable.
By the way Nsx handleing can beat many things out!

yes, but let's be realistic, how many nsx can you find that you can afford? that anyone can afford? and then have money to fix up. other than the skyline, viper, and some vette's, all the cars he listed are affordable, as is the civic, which is why so many people do them. hence why i never will. give me a crx, and maybe i'll do it, but honda just does not do anything for me anymore.

First of all NSX's these days you can find for 15k and 24k and i saw one for 13k and it was fine. I am not talking new duh! omg! He also said Ferrari can YOU buy a ferrari omg! vipers, skylines, he didn't say anything except duh turbo beetle umm duh! oh about a Aston martan or a maclaren omg 1 million dollar car yeah sure i can get one tomorrow! Gee i think i am resonable that guy is a duchebag!

nsx's only have around 290 hp tops (stock)... i don't find that all that impressive... the v10 nsx (coming soon) will hopefully live up to its "supercar" status.
does honda even make a stock CAR with more than 300 hp that the tuner market would willingly exploit?

ashton martin's are less than a mill, just to let you know. what's with the duh? over and over? you sound like my sister when she was like 12 or something. totally. actually, there is nothing wront with a turbo beetle.......if you don't mind pink and paisley. that [censored] is out. dead. and the nsx sucks, the ones your seeing that cheap, everytime i see them for any price used, it's like a used viper, pos. personally the nsx never did anything for me. tries to look like a supercar, but why am i gonna pay a hundred grand for 290 hp? why? cause some guys have a lot of money, and small little penises. that is a little dick car if i ever saw one. i've smoked a few myself, they aint that great.

I've owned from 4's to 8's, and believe me, sweetheart, I aint trying to compensate for anything ![]() ....

actually, any car you spend about a hundred grand on that is underpowered, you gotta be overcompensating. and since you don't believe in punctuation, the sentace you wrote read like ashton martin mclaren one mill. i know what a mclarin is. i'm immersed in the car world enough i think i should know. but your posts are more and more leading me to believe your some 16 year old little kid trying to act all grown up. take a hint, no one believes your rants you get from google. your outnumbered. find a i'm brainlessly enslaved by honda and therefore everything else sucks board. and stop wastijng our time with useless posts.

I never mentioned a McLaren car. No I don't want to prove you wrong. I was just backing up the cars I admire so much. If I wanted JDM, I would get a car shipped over from Japan. I am sure you know that is very difficult to do. I don't like the idea of turning a car sold here to japanese specs. Yeah they are nice and all, but I prefer the real thing. The performance difference is very little between a japanese car sold here and a japanese car sold overthere. I don't really care about it. I like my cars a lot. I like the civic I built a lot. I love my Supra even more. Yeah your JDM Prelude might be cool, but you do not have to go around putting down everybodies car, domestic or not. So if you want to really talk [censored], we can really talk [censored]. So dont make me put your JDM Prelude or even a NSX where it belongs. Yes, I have had a prelude a while back ago, but it lacks so much. I know what the nsx can do, but it acts poor compared to everything else, except its handling, but then at speed it is lost. So yeah I am fed up with your JDM this, your NSX that. No one give a [censored]. DUH! Go DUH! people around at your high school hall.
