1996 Mazda Miata for sale. Lots of upgrades.

1996 Mazda Miata



Up for sale is one of a kind super fun sports car. It has over $8000 in unique upgrades and modifications. I will try to list as much as I remember.

First of all the car only has about 79k miles which is low. it has been always garaged and well taken care off. oil changed every 2000 miles at the local Mazda Dealership with premium service every time.

the AC is ice cold, no rust and the car has barely seen any rain as it was only a joy car

I will try and list everything that was done but I am sure I will be forgetting lots of stuff. All Parts were Purchased Brand New and have less than 3k miles on them since installed.



1- New Konig  Kalibur (Rare and discontinued) 17x7" Rims with brand new Z rated Tires. Impossible to lose traction with these. The Rims cost me $1500 alone not including the tires and mounting and balancing,..etc

2- $1500 Audio System

Sony Single Din Cassette Player with Wireless remote

Sony 10 Disc Cd-MP3 Changer

2 Sony 8" 800 Watts Subwoofers Custom mounted inside the car

2 300 Watts 6.5" Speakers in the doors

Fully rewired Audio System for the Speakers (all 12 gauge Wire in the whole car)

There is no Amp included but all the connections with 4 gauge wires already there.

3- Custom Carbon Fiber Vented Hood (this alone cost me $800)

4- Custom JDM Short Shifter (reduces the shift throw by 60% over the original Miata Short Shifting)

5- LED Bars under the seats

6- LED Dragon Windshield Washers

7- Air Intake System with Stainless Steel Heat Shield (the Original Intake is included with brand new K&N drop in filter)

8- High Performance full stainless Steel Catback

9- JDM Stage 3 Clutch (rated up to 520 ft/lb of torque) Grips Super hard but super light Clutch Pedal.

10- Fidanza Aluminum Flywheel (only 8 lbs vs. the stock heavy 19 lbs)

this is a very nice upgrade, the engine revs much quicker, driving is much more fun and if you install turbo or super charger you would reach max boost much earlier than stock flywheel.

11- AXXIS Ultimate Brake Pads (braking is improved a lot with those high performance pads)

12- Full Painted Body Kit included with very rare Spoiler. the kit is just like the Vader Kit except its not cheap eBay kits and the spoiler alone cost $200.

13- Custom 3 Switch Panel (1 switch available only, the other 2 are for the under seat lights and the windshield wipers light)

14- Lifetime warranty Window Tint (darkest Legal)

I am sure there is a lot more but that's all what I can remember for now.

I will include Extra Parts like the stock 14" rims with New tires, 4 hub caps, 4 Stainless Steel Trim (very rare and cost about $100 to buy). I will also include the stock shifter, Stock Air Box with new K&N Drop in performance filter ($50).

I also have Full Side Graphics from the Fast and the Furious (Gladiator). its Red and it cost me $150.

now here is the bad in the car

1- the rear plastic window has a crack in it, it doesn't leak bad really, even with Florida rain but I had to mention it

2- The check engine light comes on sometimes because of the Exhaust

3- The trunk has 4 holes that were for the old spoiler

4- it has some scratches here and there but nothing noticeable except on the front bumper (if you install the body kit the front bumper would be replaced anyway)



The car drives absolutely magnificent, very strong and I would trust it enough to take on a long road trip.

I drove lots of cars, including big horsepower cars (500 hp +) but none of them had even slightest fun or niceness of the short shifting or the handling of the miata. its a great car and I hate to see it go, but I have to move soon and need the money ASAP. the first time I listed it on eBay I was asking $10k. as you see I reduced the price a lot, and the reserve price is much lower than the buy it now price. I paid $8k for parts alone not including labor. all recites available for warranty purposes.
