hello

im a noobie and i need help i bin researching but im fed up with the english bull [censored] i visit america all the time mainly cally and sanago and americas were its am im moving over there in a couple of years or so.

well i just got a new import 98 1.4i civic hb and its my first project car and i know what my first up grades will be duel custom exhorts blue or green flame kit, dc 4to1 header, aem air intake, aem ems, skunk2 stage 2 cams. air bag hydraulics' and 18"7.5 5zigen 5zr rims with yokohama tires then dyno'ed. what you think as first upgrades.

any why that's not the problem, my problem is that im gunna do an engine swap in a year or so and im wondering what to a good swap is and wat other upgrades i should do im aiming for around 600/800hp so if im import it over to u guys i might stand a lil chance.

i have seen a 700hp engine swap to a prelude but im wondering if there's any others which could give a bigger rpm and hp boost over all i will probally spending just over £14,000 in ur money that roughly 28,000 over all about £20,000 on the it max. what do people suggest?? im designing the the body work as we speak and i will post it in dew time :P

please help me

i could build you a motor that can take all the power you want, well over 1000hp but its going to cost you all of your budget, and thats not including the turbo kit, and all of the extra stuff, but the motor and trans would be perfect. but right now i don't have much time for building motors maybe when i'm done with school.

i think its cool and all that you are dreaming about getting 800hp on a honda, i guess you will be sleeping good tonight. not to sound mean or anything but with that amount of money you can put it on something that can be easily modified to go fast. sr20's are a good platform to start with if rb engines are not available. maybe its just me but i think you are better off with something that already has turbo

hey
america's the best i hate shitty lil england

civic king that would be amazing it will take me a wail to get to money thoughugh like say in a year or so u know so u can finish's school if we could stay in contact for that long that would be damn amazing. i will try even harder to get a higher budget in that case but i mean if worst comes to worst im gunna have to send so much a mouth.

vukio i see ur idea and i have bin wondering that for a long time i thought id go for an mr2 and try putting two engine's in but i think i have decided to stick with the civic because i want to be know and have the fastist civic in this country before i bring it over to ur country u know.

ok well atlest i didn't get the bull [censored] i got over in england just coz im a bit of a newbie that wouldn't talk to me wankers haha

its pretty easy i can tell you how to make it, start off with a dart block, the add a crank/piston/rod combo from crower, tie it all together with arp studs, add a moroso complete dry sump oiling system, with a moroso oil pan, and a cometic head gasket. then grab a dart cylinder head, get it gasket matched, use stock sized stainless steel valves on the intake and use magisium filed valves on the exhaust side. use a roller lifter kit and a crower stage two turbo cam set. thats all the hard parts that are really import other then that you will need smaller stuff. cost for parts will be in the $10,000 area.

the best civic and easiest to find are the 92-95 civics, if you don't want to swap a motor go for the ex or si civics they come with a sohc 1.6 vtec motor and that engine is a good motor as long as you willing to put some work into it, if you don't care about swapping then get any civic you want in the 92-95 range.

really its your choice, i like working with what the car came with, so in my opinion one of the most underrated motors are the d-series motors, a b-series is also good if you want to go with everyone, while the k-series is good to but i think you loose power steering and ac. i personally don't care about ac but power steering is another matter and i can't loose that its too important especially when your building a street/race car.

But what about the good old H22A or the B20B long block.
