What year is it, has any thing been done at all and what is your wallet looking like? You don't have to tell me any thing about your finamces directly. That question was for you to think upon. 210 horses is very attainable, but don't be surprised to find out that you may have to do some rebuilding of the engine to get there. Starting with breathing, your head will need milling to better breathe and expell that air and fuel mixture after cumbustion. A CAI and good exhaust will do the rest. Compression will be tackled next and you can only mess with thatr if you prep the block and install quality parts, like rings, piston, crank, etc., etc. It's no small task, but maybe you should talk to a machinist or an experienced engine builder to see what it's going to cost you and if all the work will be worth the money you will spend. Talk options and keep an open mind. Don't over kill on expectations and expect it to be expensive. Nothing is cheap now a days. I know that 210 is your goal, but if building the engine is required, as I think it will be, then you may as well build for 300hp +/-. It's still a realistic goal since you're going to be opening the engine up any way. Let us know what you decide to do.

The only reason I say all that I say is because I've been there. LOL! I did the add ons mania stuff when I was young and learned valuable lessons about not prepping an engine for add ons. After my 3rd engine failure, I stopped being a Puerto Rican noob and learned what I was doing wrong. I built every thing I got my hands on and since then I haven't had issues with failing parts. I was 16 going on 17 when I was experiencing the "noob effect" of loving speed. LOL! I'm 41 now and I still remember all the "noob" mistakes like it was yesterday. I still shake my head at all the lost money... The good thing is that I share that experience with you guys so that you don't go through the same frustrating stuff I went through about this trade/hobby. With more power comes more stress to vital components... you may as well see what mistakes others have made and learn from their mistakes. I did! LOL!

Skill takes time to master and even if you have the most tuned car in the world, with out skill you have nothing. Just about every thing in life requires some level of skill so that it opens the doors to mastery. In martial arts if you learn a kick or a punch and learn it to with in no flaw, if you don't know how to apply it you may as well be swinging at air. I love martial arts philosophy! I know what you're trying to say, bro, and you're right to an extent. I've seen 90 hp VW Rabbits go around corners like a bat out of hell and not be bothered by G-forces. The Rabbit was a fast little car, too. I wouldn't have thought a 90HP Rabbit would be capable of such things. I seen it with my own two eyes. I get what you mean, though. It is a double edged sword. LOL!

You can't have an engine perform with out a good driver to make it put out performance. It's true, to an extent. Too many factors come to play when you race.
