my inspiration for building my s2000 is this guy that was making 800hp in his s2000. 300hp is quite impressive though 500+hp is no problem for the S2000. but still those builds have me excited to make my car some insain H lol

Me too. The money is all we need, though.

My dream purchase/project is either a turbo or a 2JZ engine swap for my Rav4. Gotta save, though. It seems as if Christmas is digging into my funds! NOOOOOO!!!!!!

fellas,i have a problem.my was sputtering today and i dont know why.i have put (over a time)like 4 cans of seafoam in my car because i have had this happen before because i let it get to low and its been sucking up trash.but here lately, ive been keeping it above half and sometimes on full so i dont know what the problem is.i forgot to say that it would not rev up but it stayed on. also my brake and battery lights have been coming on here lately at the same time, but i have a new battery and have checked the brakes and fluid and it was all fine.can you tell me whats up?

It requires some testing, but it sounds as if your fuel pump is on the weak side. Have it checked to see if it's putting out fuel at the right pressure. Depending on the car, it should be putting out about 30 to 40 psi of fuel pressure. Some cars a little higher, though, you may need to see what yours should be at. The lights coming on are most likely a symptom of the car not revving at nominal RPMs. A low idling engine will make things not work at their peak. If you have good fuel pressure, check spark and if that's ok, check hardware, like sensors, wires and such. Timing can also affect idle. You have your hands full, but you have to start some where. Let me know how things go with the diag.

I have not checked my fuel pump.I dont think Im going to worry about it because if everything goes according to plan ,I will be buying a SR20 within the next two months or so and will be buying a new fuel pump. But I want to know if you would buy one from ebay? There's a company claiming that they sell the motor and will not ship without testing to be sure it's a good running motor.Would you suggest me looking into this any more or do you guys have a better suggestion or know a reliable place that sells them?

It's a catch 22 with internet sales, bud. Check to see if they have been used by other people, BBB or find more comercial places near you. I always go to the Junk yard to get blocks and stuff. Heads and other internal stuff I get at auto parts, dealerships and or the internet through AUTOPARTSWAREHOUSE.COM, STILLEN.COM, etc., etc. This site has tons of info on engine places as well. The ones I've seen around a lot and for a while are always on Super Street magazine. Check it out.

Not bad choices from my pals, crimson. Any thing they suggest works fine. The Focus is being canned by Ford soon. It's going to be replaced by the return of the Festiva. BLEH! The Focus is the only little car they make that merrits a lot of respect and they go and can it. Man! No common sense.
