Ok well here is the deal, i have a 96 Neon (ya i know ) SOHC, 2.0 l, with a custom dual exhaust, altezza tail lights, and halo head lights. But i know this car will lead me to nowhere so i need help choosing a newer car. Im thinking like a Nissan 240sx RedTop SR20DET, or a Mitsubishi Eclipse, or someother sweet car like that. Any ideas?

most importantly, we need to know your price range. i cannot recommend a car without knowing the price range.

Yeah, could we get some more specifics. What are your ultimate power numbers? Are you tuning the car for any specific purpose or just for the fun of tuning a car? ETC.

Both the eclipse (some models) and the 240 are solid platforms. But like everyone else said, some more details would be helpful

Ok well im thinking to start buy a car under 7Gs, and i plan to turn my car into a nice, fast, sweetlooking car, but also the possiblity of drifting. Im kinda going for RWDs but if a nice FWD is for sale well who knows. But the idea is drift, speed, and im keeping the total amount under 25Gs. Maybe less.

putting nearly $20,000 into a $7000 car is normally a really bad idea.

It sounds like your primary concern is drifting. Definitely look at a rear wheel drive platform like an older 240.

You could also look for a rx-7 or a corolla AE86

I don't know know about speed, but Miatas offer go-kart handling. You may or may not like the soft top, but the older ones are well within your budget.
