Besides DYonehara and automotivejtm, I don't think any one else from the magazine bothers. Maybe if they saw what we spoke about on here they would see to making the mag thicker with content. Lord knows there is a lot more out there to see than the production cars made by racers and race shops.  I don't know how far this economy is going to destroy things, but I hope it doesn't make SS a casualty. I like the mag and the forum. Cross your fingers and hope that the media big wigs see my "OY" post.

I don't think that they are going under at least I would hope not. I think they are cutting budgets to not go under which is giving the mag a little less of an appeal that makes you want to read it. Still though they are doing good.

I don't think that they are going under, either, but less pages is not appealing. They should consider merging with all their other titles for a bit until they get back on their feet financially. All the titles are suffering a bit. It wouldn't hurt them at all. Marvel comics and DC comics did that a while back and sales went through the roof. It's tough times and it requires a little ingenuity to get the attention of the masses.

i think i might have that comic under my bed lol. Import Tuner vs. SuperStreet...now that would be a very funny magazine that could be a cool idea i remeber  a while ago superstreet writers should off there cars and had all the specs and parts of the cars. they should take that a step further and head over to a track to battle it out.

I bet it would blow sales out the roof if they made an issue like that with them racing.

See? We have ideas that would garner some sales for them and all they have to do is look at what we want. Supply and demand. It's simple. I would buy that issue, too. I've been buying any way, but having some thing other than the usual is straight nice.

Isn't there some kind of saying that goes the buyer is always right? This kind of applies to that doesn't it? LOL!

Yes it does. I've been having to travel a bit to find SS on the stands. I had to purchase D-Sport becuase I haven't been able to reliably get SS. I WANT MY SS! I sound mad, but I'm not. Since I had my cardiac event, I've been forced to stay home and relax until me stress test. Thank God it's tomarrow. I know my heart is fine. The blood test they did last Friday had a series of tests done to it and they checked for a perticular hormone or protein that gets emitted when some one gets a heart attack. It came out negative, but there still may be some blockage in the arteries and the stress test will reveal some of that. Any way, since I'm not allowed to go out, I have my wife doing some of my chores. Getting SS is one of them. LOL! No luck on getting SS, though. She got me the afore mentioned mag. She had to travel a bit for it, though. It's the sign of the times, people.

LOL! That's why I wait for the news stand to carry the issues. Not that I'm against subscriptions, I don't like bills. That's all. LOL!
