i am new at tuning and i was just needing some and advice and a kind of exhaust since thats wat i can afford right now.i have a 1994 civic cx(hatchback) and i have a friend who has a can on his nissian sentra which sounds nice. does anyone have some advice on wat kind of can i should put on and how big of pipes?

Whats up man. If you are staying n/a and dont plan on making a ton of power, i would say nothing bigger than a 2.5 inch exhasut. Greddy and Borla make some good cat back bolt on exhausts for a reasonable price, check them out.

Make sure you mount it right, or else it'll rattle a lot and make it sound horrible

I am planing on adding a little power a little later when i get the money to do it. so i would like to go with a little bigger exhaust.

a 2.5 inch exhaust should be sufficient up to 250whp. which is a lot of extra power. Might want to go with a 2.75 though

i think i will go with a 2.5 inch pipes but im still not sure wat size of can i should go with. any ideas or suggestions?

When you say can, are you talking about muffler or exhaust tip? I have always liked the look of a moderate exhaust tip, like 3 - 3.5 inches.
