I was reading an article about this and it made me realize how many car tv shows there actually are on the air.  Pimp my Ride, Speedvision, motortrend tv, Overhaulin, rides, and the list goes on.  How many of you guys watch tv shows and which ones do you watch the most.

I personally do not watch tv that often so I can not contribute to this ridiculously big list, but how about everyone else?

well, i used to watch tuner transformation on speed. they did some pretty good stuff i thought. nothing too crazy, but made an all around good car each episode. unlike pimp my ride, most of the time they were cars that deserved attention. sports car revolution isnt bad either...

so when does Super Street TV hit the stations?

ever since they stopped covering WRC rally events, I stopped watching Speed channel.  pimp my ride is just a joke.  I watched Street Tuner Challenge in the first season since there was a legit tuner (XS engineering building a 900whp R32 GT-R) but the new season is terrible.  Those volkswagen guys have no idea what theyre doing and only focus on looks.
and i do watch forumla D drifting coverage on G4.
overhaulin is alright, but the whole original resotration vs. chip foose pimping thing is controversial.

i would watch more bike/car build shows if they werent all the same - there are always ridiculous deadlines and fake drama.  you know very well that the shops have advanced knowledge of their schedules and deadlines.  they just need to make it interesting i guess, after all, it is TV

yeah how could i forget the Firmula D on G4?! and i stopped watching speed too when they dropped rally coverage. it was the only way to see it too, besides flying out to a race, like that'll happen soon...

me too; i dearly miss my wrc coverage.  when i was a kid i watched horsepower tv every weekend, and i recently rediscovered it.  i also watch the, whatever the mustang show is right after it.  i catch overhauling once in awhile, but i agree that it is a *** i dont know, stale i suppose.  thats about it, there really isnt much else to watch.  there was one "tuner show" type show on G4 tht ive seen a couple times.  eh.

Two words: Top Gear. That show is amazing. From the cinematography, to the reviews, to the ways the hosts test the cars, it's really entertaining while informative at the same time.
