Personally I think Mitsubishi dropped the ball when they got rid of the awd turbo platform on the Eclipse. I don’t think there are too many people that would argue with me on that point. But in my book, they have gained back a little ground with the styling of the 4th gen Eclipse. And now, as we all didn’t see it coming, are introducing a spyder version. As far as looks go I really like this car. I just wish it had some balls.

Man them 3.8 litres are no joke with some money put into internals and a turbo kit you'll be kill v8s left and right and I agree they should make a 4wd version of it

With the 3.8 in it, how would you design the trans to accept the massive amount of torque it would produce. The 3.8 is a pretty strong engine as it is. I've been in quite a few cars with that 3.8 since working at the Mitsu dealer and I have a good amount of respect for the engine. It's no Evo engine, but it does demand a bit of respect in its current version. They did make a Galant Rally Art version with the 3.8 that kicked some butt. You don't see too many of those any more. What they need to do is design an Outlander Sport with an Evo inspired engine... That would be sick!
How you drive is your buisness. Remember that you're not the only one on the road! Educate, don't hate.
